Saskia McLean founded Saskia Silver Designs after graduating from Falmouth University in 2023 with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design, specialising in Print Design. Based in Cornwall, her brand draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of the south coast, where she grew up.
Saskia’s work is heavily influenced by wildlife, botanical themes, and coastal scenes, which feature across a range of her products — from soft furnishings to kitchenware. Her deep connection to the natural beauty of Cornwall shines through in both her fine art and her unique, hand-crafted jewellery designs.
Alongside her product collections, Saskia also offers pet and house portrait commissions, working in pencil or acrylic to capture meaningful moments with care and detail.
As of 2025, Saskia has been selected to join the St Ives Society of Artists, a prestigious milestone that recognises her growing contribution to the Cornish creative community.
