Saskia McLean founded Saskia Silver Designs after graduating from Falmouth University last year with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design, specialising in Print Design. Saskia Silver Designs is a Cornwall-based brand that draws inspiration from the stunning south coast of Cornwall.
Her designs are inspired by wildlife, botanical themes, and coastal scenes, and they can be applied to various products, including soft furnishings and kitchenware. Having grown up in Cornwall, Saskia is deeply influenced by the beauty of the wild southwestern peninsula of the UK, which is reflected in her fine art and innovative jewellry designs. In addition to her other work, Saskia offers pet and house portrait commissions in pencil or acrylic.
As of 2025 Saskia Has been chosen to be part of the St Ives Society Of Artists
